With a strong focus on international cooperation and industrial development, ITS Academy of Udine has launched a new training and employment programme targeting young talent from Uzbekistan. The initiative was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding signed during the Italian government’s official visit to Uzbekistan, marking a new era of cooperation between the two nations.
The partnership brings together the ITS Academy of Udine and the Tashkent branch of the Polytechnic University of Turin. The two institutions are launching a structured technical education and job placement programme aimed at preparing Uzbek students for highly qualified roles in the Italian advanced manufacturing sector. The programme starts in Uzbekistan, where the selected students will receive basic training in language and technical skills. From there, they will continue with a two-year advanced specialisation at the ITS Academy in Italy. At the end of the programme, Danieli Group, as collaborator of Polytechnic of Turin for post-diploma employment, is committed to offering direct job opportunities within its industrial sites, turning training into career opportunities. This initiative is based on the bilateral agreement on migration signed in Samarkand on 29 May 2025.
Danieli Group’s long-standing commitment to innovation and global talent development is evident in this latest move. In addition to strengthening its workforce, the company is helping to position Italy as a destination for high-quality technical training and professional development in the heart of Eurasia. After all, the project reflects the company’s broader goal of combining innovation and sustainability and putting people, especially the younger generation, at the centre of industrial progress.
