Hypersail: Ferrari debuts in sailing with a futuristic monohull

Ferrari enters the sailing world with the revolutionary Hypersail project, the first flying monohull bearing the iconic Cavallino Rampante. Unveiled by John Elkann and skipper Giovanni Soldini, the boat marks a major shift in Italian yachting by combining design, advanced technology, and high performance.

Entirely built in Italy, Hypersail is the result of a close collaboration between Ferrari and Soldini. The yacht features foils and an aerodynamic structure designed to reduce drag and boost efficiency. Its sharp bow, sleek lines, and perfect balance between aesthetics and function reflect the joint work with Centro Stile Ferrari.

Hypersail is designed to compete in some of the world’s most prestigious offshore regattas, aiming to become a symbol of the future of competitive sailing. The project also emphasizes sustainability, using next-generation composite materials and low-impact manufacturing processes.

As John Elkann stated, the sea is Ferrari’s new frontier – a natural extension of its mission to blend innovation, beauty, and performance. Giovanni Soldini described the project as a groundbreaking challenge, introducing technical solutions never before seen in the world of sailing.
