The 46th edition of the International Vienna Motor Symposium<\/strong> is being inaugurated\u2014a globally renowned event in the engine sector, associated technologies, and their evolution, consistently focused on achieving Zero CO\u2082. This year’s exhibition, hosted in the Austrian capital, will unveil significant innovations in sustainable fuels, including the standout presentation of an exclusive 6-cylinder boxer engine designed by Porsche. From May 14 to 16, 2025, at the Hofburg Conference Centre in Vienna, the event will once again focus on sustainable energy and mobility. The goal is to analyze and propose solutions that, according to the consensus among leading academics and designers, could accelerate the journey toward zero CO\u2082 emissions. During the event, a wide range of technologies will be examined\u2014from electric propulsion systems and next-generation batteries to fuel cells and hydrogen combustion engines, culminating in the most advanced hybrid systems designed to ensure high performance and enhanced vehicle efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-day program of the Vienna Motor Symposium<\/strong> will create the ideal environment for over 1,000 experts and decision-makers to engage in numerous meetings aimed at exchanging ideas and networking. In addition to showcasing high-performance innovations, the symposium will dedicate significant time to discussing large combustion engines, which are fundamental for long-distance transport. An exemplary case is provided by Cummins’ hydrogen engine, characterized by a displacement of 6.7 liters and featuring direct injection. Additionally, the concept of a 17-liter hydrogen engine from Volvo will be presented, utilizing a low-pressure direct injection system. Finally, the spotlight will be on the MAN V12 hydrogen mega-engine, with an impressive 30-liter displacement, which strikes a balance between sustainability, economic efficiency, and customer benefits, making it particularly suited for the railway and maritime sectors. During the symposium in Vienna, a different focus will be addressed, concentrating on the sector of compact units used in powersport equipment, such as snowmobiles, jet skis, and side-by-side off-road vehicles.
